Day 1: After meeting a little before 9am at a pre-arranged meeting point we embark the Ferry from Dover to France, we use the Ferry as this allows us time to introduce ourselves to each other and break the ice, also it gives everyone a chance to ask and questions and address any concerns anyone may have on the forthcoming trip.  We disembark after arriving in France and begin to make our way through France and into Belgium toward our first overnight destination in the Eifel Mountain region of Germany.  Approx 243 miles.

Day 2: After a great rest we continue our scenic ride through the quaint German countryside and make a visit to the Mohne Dam which was the scene of a triumphant attack in WW2 by the 617 squadron.  After this we settle in for another nights well deserved rest.  Approx 170 miles.

Day 3: Leaving after a hearty breakfast we leave the Mohne Dam and begin to make our way to Colditz via the Harz Mountains. Approx 150 miles

Day 4: Touring Colditz this morning allows us to relive the epic tales of the place and ponder over the sheer inventiveness of the famous escape attempts that were made.  After this we begin to head in towards central Germany. Approx 180 miles

Day 5: Riding towards Boppard we stop off at the Eder Dam which was immortalised on 16th May 1943 by the world famous Dam Busters.  We end up today near some medieval castle such as Castle Marksburg and Burg Eltz.  If anyone is feeling particularly adventurous they are welcome to tackle the Nordschliefe. Approx 100 miles

Day 6: After a well deserved rest especially for those who perhaps did a lap or two, we make our way down along the river for most of the day winding through vineyards etc and finally ending up in the town of Baden Baden at the top of the famous Black Forest region and the B500 route.  Approx 145 miles

Day 7: Leaving from the Baden Baden region we ride down through the B500 taking in some of the spectacular views on offer and and then make our way into France to tackle the Vosges mountains heading into the heart of the mountains where we will bring our day to an end.  Approx 162 miles

Day8:  We continue to ride through the outstanding scenery on offer through the Vosges Mountain region before we place ourselves onto the faster roads to get back across northern France and finally onto the channel tunnel as our final leg of the return to the U.K.  Approx 360 miles.
